Confirm Covid-19 Cases
Confirmed Covid-19 Case at Allied Rental and Subsequent Action. This document is prepared to report the event of a confirmed Covid-19 case at ARM and consequent preventive measures taken to contain the spread of disease within and outside the premises.
On Thursday, May 07, 2020, one of our employees from the North region reported a Covid-19 positive test result of his immediate family member. The employee was immediately asked to self-isolate himself at home and get tested for Covid-19. Understanding his social responsibility, he voluntarily informed us of his test result, which also came out positive. Currently he is hospitalized and seeking medical attention in line with government health directives.
IMMEDIATE STEPS:
Following the reported case, certain steps were taken as an immediate measure for the prevention of further spread.
- Complete information was collected to identify the staff members who were in close contact irrespective of the duration of contact. All those identified were advised to stay at home and undergo COVID-19 testing immediately before returning to work. As per procedure, none of the close contacts of a confirmed case are allowed to resume work until the reports are clear. By the grace of Allah, all close contacts have been tested "negative." As a precautionary measure, the identified close contacts are still required to complete a period of 14 days in isolation and observe for symptoms before reporting to the office again.
- In addition to routine cleaning, all facilities were thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ensuring the process was aligned with cleaning procedures set forth by health authorities and respective governing bodies
- Incidence information was cascaded down at all organizational levels to inform staff members of their duty to stay vigilant and keep following all safety SOPs.
- Covid-19 refresher sessions were conducted at all facilities.
- All senior managers are in close contact with our staff member who tested positive to keep a check on his health condition and assure him of our full support in this testing time.

At ARM, we would like to assure you that we are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of our people and community at large. We shall keep playing our part as a responsible business entity by following all safety SOPs outlined by respective government agencies for disease containment and safe & smooth operations.
At all our facilities, we are ensuring the following:
- Daily temperature screening at the entrance.
- Every single employee inside the premises must wear a face mask.
- Proper social distancing shall be maintained among staff members.
- Avoid workplace crowding.
- Remote working whenever possible.
- Necessary staff attending office to carry out work.
- Frequent hand washing and observing all necessary hygiene measures.
- Regular cleaning of work areas / frequently touched surfaces with disinfectants.
- Regular awareness sessions on preventive and sanitation measures.
- Counseling of staff members by senior managers to report immediately for any symptoms.
- “Zero Tolerance” for any violation of safety SOPs.
